5 Reasons NOT to Move to Colorado

  1. The Weather: The Weather here is terrible. It is so cold in the winter and it snows and rains all the way through May. In fact, sometimes it snows in June, come on, that is absurd. It can change at the drop of a hat. You can literally leave the house in shorts and need a winter jacket by dinner. Of course, now that I think about it, sometimes it’s like 70 in January and that’s awesome; you can go running and be outside. It really is marvelous. And we do have 300 days of sunshine, which is more than Florida, it’s absolutely incre……Damn It.
  2. The Mountains: Okay this one is truly dreadful. They are so big and they loom over everything and the sun goes down earlier in the Summer because they block the view. But, the view is spectacular and in the Summer you can go hiking  and camping and see wildlife and in the Winter you can go skiing and snowboarding and ice skating and sledding and tubing and you always know which way wes…..Damn It.
  3. Alright, Healthy People: People here are really healthy. They like to exercise and be outdoors, it is so annoying. They post pictures of their runs and hikes and camping and even walks. They have races. EVERY. SINGLE. WEEKEND. And, they are so nice about it, and encouraging too. It really makes you want to live a healthier life. You want to get out there and post the same pictures and maybe attend one of those races. It’s such a welcoming commu….Damn It.
  4. Hmm, The Food: It really goes with the Healthy People. People basically consider Whole Foods a place of worship. Its kind of horrendous, really. People literally cut sugar completely out of their lives. Gross! We have all this local produce because we have this amazing ecosystem that has mountains and plains. It’s fresh and quite lovely and we have it year round. You can get it at every grocery store and we have these restaurants that are ACTUALLY farm to tabl….Damn It.
  5. The Traffic: Well, traffic really does suck. But, we blame all you people who keep moving here so just stop.
